Logitech MX vertical on Mac not recognising unifying receiver (easy switch position 1). How to fix
1 min readOct 16, 2024
In case your mouse stops connecting the the USB receiver (that works way better than bluetooth, at least on my M1 Mac), here is how I fixed it:
- download Unifying software from this link. Note: it’s not LogiOptions+, that app is not enough
- Install `Unifying Installer.app` and alos allow
input monitoring
permission. then clickquick and reopen
- launch
Logitech unifying software
using spotlight
- Switch off the mouse, switch easy switch to 1 and turn it on;
- The app told me to pair, but I didn’t need to do that, maybe because it was alredy paired in the past but it misteriously stopped working;
- It shoud now work. Delete the bluetooth setup in case you don’t use it to make sure you use it with the receiver
