How to change PDF white background into black background on Mac for free
If you are more accustomed to white text on black background (every common among coders using IDEs), then you can do the same for PDFs for free.
The Free Acrobat reader (download page) offers accessibility options to replace colours.
Click on Menu -> Preferences
Then Tick “replace document colors”. Then either use the given high-contrast colour or chose your own.
Save et voilà, all the PDF changed.
This will affect ALL the opened PDF, that could be annoying. I didn’t find a way to turn this on for specific documents, but you can either set acrobat reader not as a default (so you do right “open with” when you want white on black, or just simple open with another PDF reader) OR turn on/off every time from the preferences menu.
